mushroom by Scottius Polke

Scottius Polke is one of the most talented artists in SL, I love how he managed to integrate the 3D dimension and the use of scripts in his works. His most recent installation shows that aspect of his art in a way that is both brilliant and funny.

mushROOM is a complete 3D interactive  graphic installation. All the textures, objects and interactive displays in a very special room, a dream room, or a nightmare one, inhabited with mushrooms, amebas, molds and old socks are Scottius creations.

 

 

musROOM can be seen in project Z and I advice you not to miss this one. And while you are there don’t forget to jump in the bed, play with the  scatered papers on the floor and dance with the amebas (I’m going back there to dance with them again )

Ocean House at Bahia Store

One of my SL passions are furniture and lanscape shops. I often wander the grid searching for shops or browsing the ones I already know. One of the stores I stop by often is Bahia, Tiki and Zen Store by Aral Leavitt. If you like beach stuff this island will be heaven for you.

Aral Leavitt is one of the most talented builders and creators I know. She has a fantastic attention to detail and her textures are perfect. Recently she redone the furniture to one of her beautifull houses, the Ocean House.

The colors are very beachy, lots of blues and yellows and oranges. The detail is amazing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The furniture includes the bedroom, living-room and dining. You can buy the whole, or just one set, it perfectly matches the house.

 

 

 

 

 

 

and I just love the big varanda that opens towards the sea .

The house itself is also a lovely house. Curtains that match the furniture, very open, very soft.

If you don’t know this store, stop by and browse all the wonderfull stuff, Aral has some of the best beach houses around SL, not to mention furniture and all you need to make your beach a comfy space!

Tales From the Old City – Machinima

 

new machinima from SpyvSpy Aeon

as Spy says ” Four weeks of hard work, since the beginning of the production of this machinima (1 of 3). This is the first production I do with voice over, and the first time I  tried to synchronize the voice with the scenes. A project that by its size, dimension, perspective and work shows how truly complicated it can be, but I bet it will be one of my best works since I started in the world of films, video clips and pure machinima, about 8 months ago. My biggest motivation is a work by Krrish Spyker entitled “SCRIPTED”, also a monologue full of magnificent scenery, well chosen and very good work on tools like Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects.”

But it is well worth it Spy, great work, and I can’t wait for the other 2

Las Islas closing?

This was the message I got today from Las Islas group when logging to SL. I do hope that Naiman can deffend is IP rights on his produts, because not only are they the best (and I know that for a fact, my SL beach was made with Las Islas products), but these are wonderfull sims, free for all of us to enjoy thanks to the generosity of his creator, Naiman Broome!
